Please join us as we launch the Environmental Justice Initiative at ÈâÂþÎÝ School of Law on October 15 in Lipton Hall/Faculty Club.  Doors open at 5:15 and the program will start at 5:30.  Dean McKenzie will kick off the evening with opening remarks, followed by a panel discussion of the past, present and future of the environmental and climate justice movements, and how the new Environmental Justice Initiative can support the effort.  Panelists include Charles Lee and Vernice Miller-Travis, both founders of the environmental justice movement, and Abre' Conner, director of Environmental and Cliamte Justice at the NAACP.  The panel will be moderated by Environmental Justice Initiative Director Marianne Engelman-Lado.  The program will be followed by refreshments.
