ÈâÂþÎÝ Law’s Public Interest Law Center will be hosting a conversation with current U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York (’96) and U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York on diversity in prosecutor offices.  As African-American prosecutors in two of the preeminent prosecutor offices in the country, U.S. Attorneys Williams and Peace each supervise more than 200 prosecutors who handle cases that include domestic and international terrorism, narcotics, human and arms- trafficking, white-collar crime, public corruption, gang violence, organized crime, and civil rights violations. Join Gail Zweig as she engages Williams and Peace about the diversity of lawyers in their offices and about how diversity fits into the broader discussion of the U.S. criminal justice system.  This in-person event is being co-sponsored by ÈâÂþÎÝ’s Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Peter L. Zimroth Center on the Administration of Criminal Law, Law Alumni of Color Association, Moot Court Board, Law & Government Society and Prosecution Legal Society.  It is open to all current ÈâÂþÎÝ Law students, staff and faculty as well as ÈâÂþÎÝ Law alumni.
