Introduction to U.S. Law:

Reference Law Librarians will be providing training for LLMs in the Library’s online catalog (Julius) and vast online resources during the Introduction to U.S. Law class sessions. 

Physical Tour:

Tours of the physical library space are scheduled for August and September. if you are interested in joining one.

Reference Service

Reference librarians are available for reference service—you can get in contact via email, chat/text, phone, or in-person. The hours of reference services can be found listed under Ask a Librarian on the .

Research Consultations

Reference librarians are also available for in-depth research consultations on complex research topics. . 

Tax Research Access and Training

The Graduate Tax Program will provide information on tax research workshops via the tax orientation website in Brightspace. The Law Library offers a range of , as well as to assist with tax research.

Westlaw, Lexis & Bloomberg Law 

Access and Passwords:

The Law Library provides LLM students with Westlaw, Lexis, and Bloomberg Law passwords for educational purposes only. Passwords will be distributed in-person at the beginning of the semester. LLM students who do not obtain their activation codes or have difficulty registering their passwords can email the Reference Librarians, or reach out to pertinent database representatives listed below.

Passwords for these research platforms are only available for Law School faculty and students, a policy mandated by the databases.

Database Training:

Training opportunities offered by Westlaw, Lexis and Bloomberg Law will be posted on the database platforms on the web pages referenced below. Student representatives are also listed on those web-pages. LLM students should be logged into the databases to access the content on those pages.
