The at ÈâÂþÎÝ, cordially invites you to attend the Sixteenth Annual Emile Noël Lecture on the State of the (European) Union on Wednesday September 20 at 5:30 p.m.

The Building of a New Global Order -- A No Holds Barred Conversation

with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission.

It is hard to remember a time when the challenges to the world order were as daunting as they are today. The Russian aggression in Ukraine, USA-China-Taiwan, the new geopolitics of the Global South, a fraught international trading system, the never-ending Middle East quagmire, sliding democracies are just a few highlights or lowlights.  It is also hard to remember a time where the presence (and absence?) of the European Union as an international actor was so strongly felt.

, the High Representative (Foreign Minister in normal parlance) of the EU in conversation with will touch on these points and more.

A reception will immediately follow the lecture.

Registration is required. Please RSVP .
