Join the Community Activism Chairs next Monday for a discussion around community accountability, anti-police visions of safety, and interventions to address harm. This event was shaped in response to the violence that occurred in Monterey Bay and Half-Moon Bay last week, with a hope to inspire deeper conversations around how white supremacy and cultural misogyny contribute to rising anti-Asian violence. So, while we will aim to create a compassionate space and welcome folks to share grief, please note that the primary intention of this event is to channel our energies into action and collective solidarity.
