Legal English

These non-credit language-based classes take place in September and provide students whose first language is not English with a forum for the study of legal English. A main focus of the three two-hour class sessions is to improve each student’s legal English vocabulary. For a full description of the course content, see the .

English Conversation Groups

Informal English conversation groups take place in mid-fall and mid-spring semesters at the Law School. All LLM students will receive an email in the beginning of each semester with instructions on joining these sessions.

ÈâÂþÎÝ Law Student Groups

Student groups provide an excellent opportunity to foster English conversation with JD students and your LLM colleagues and can become important sources of mentoring and academic support for their members.

Review the list of student organizations posted on the Law School's website with links to information on each group's activities and events and how to join. These groups include opportunities to take on a leadership role or simply participate periodically in activities of your interest.
