Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association
In celebration of the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association (BWBA) 2020-2021 theme “Paving the Way
Through Mentorship,” the BWBA is awarding two individual scholarships in the amount of $1,500 to one law student and one 2020 law school graduate who demonstrates community involvement and financial need.
Awards of $1,000 are given to students planning a career in higher education, special education, and vocational education, health care services, or the teaching of social studies. The purpose is to build a responsible citizenship, protect the nation's future and to maintain the free enterprise system and political heritage.
The FCBA offers economic assistance to law students who have a potential interest in legal issues that may arise at the Federal Circuit.
Scholarships are available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students in all academic disciplines currently enrolled in accredited post-secondary schools in the United States and Finland. Some of the criteria the FFN Scholarship Committee uses in evaluating applications are: financial need, course of study, and US/Finnish citizenship.

Private law firms provide scholarships for academic enrichment opportunities to entering 1L law students. The firms also offer recipients networking opportunities and mentorship from their attorneys.
