For Students
The Grunin Center equips the next generation of lawyers to drive social change. Our opportunities give ÈâÂþÎÝ law students hands-on experience and a network of support to launch their careers in the fields of social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and sustainable development.
Gain Practical Experience
- Clinical and Curricular Offerings: Students gain experience representing social entrepreneurs and impact investors addressing real-world challenges.
- Research Assistantships: Students work directly with our faculty on cutting-edge research, and contribute to publications like our annual report, "The State of Social Enterprise and the Law," that help shape the legal landscape.
- Summer Internships: Through the White & Case Social Entrepreneurship Summer Internship, students gain firsthand experience in an organization focused on social enterprise, impact investing, or sustainable development.
Build Community
- Social Enterprise & Startup Law Group (SE-SL): The Grunin Center supports the student-led SE-SL community to network with like-minded peers, learn about the legal landscape in other jurisdictions, and explore career paths through the alternative break trip.
Recognition for Field-Advancing Work
- White & Case Social Entrepreneurship Award: One graduating JD student and one graduating LLM student are recognized each year for their commitment and contributions to the field of social enterprise law.
